GCCSA Game day Rules
The GCCSA Academy Program does not play offside’s, however if a player is cherry picking the referee will be told to call an offside.
If a team goes up by 3 goals, they must remove a player. If the same team goes up by 5 goals the other team must add an extra player.
The player will be removed once the score is within 3 and when the score is within 2 the other team can return to full strength.
U10’s cannot punt but U9s can.
The goalkeeper can drop the ball and kick the ball after a bounce though.
All teams must drop back to the half way line and allow the defending team a free pass from the goalkeeper. Once the defender touches the ball, the attacking team may enter the half.
Foul throws will be retaken until the player gets it right
All referee fees are $14, and must be paid to the referee at the start of each game.
Parents and Spectators are encouraged to support and enjoy the games, please refrain from sideline coaching as it is distracting to the players and often different to what the coach is telling his team. |
