The GCCSA Challenge program is designed for player who want more from their soccer experience. The coaches design an age appropriate curriculum to help ensure that the players reach their potential while in a challenging and exciting environment. The goal for our Challenge program is to ensure our players are having a positive experience through soccer and receiving the proper curriculum and environment to help facilitate learning and retaining fundamental skills.

Challenge Format
Within the GCCSA Challenge program teams will practice two nights a week at Gardner-Webb University. Along with our other travel teams a supplementary
SKILLS training is offered once a week for Challenge participants. Challenge level practices are designed to engage your child and provide age appropriate activities created by our coaching staff along with our Director of Coaching.
Our Challenge teams compete in the Charlotte Area Youth Soccer League (CAYSL). The CAYSL is a scheduling League that is an extension of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA). CAYSL is the home to over 2,300+ youth soccer players from ages U9-U13, 208 Challenge teams representing over 14 growing Soccer Clubs and Associations.
