GCCSA relies on volunteers like you to keep soccer programs available for our Cleveland County youth. Parents and community members are encouraged to get involved and volunteer! Whether your strength is soccer, organization skills, communication or photography, we would love to talk to you about how you can help. Please contact the GCCSA President if you are interested in volunteering!

The following are some of the volunteer positions we currently have available:

Recreation Coaches
All coaches and assistant coaches for our recreation league are volunteers. Previous coaching experience is not necessary. Coaches must enjoy working with children and have a basic knowledge of soccer.

We rely on volunteer coaches to teach young participants soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game.  Teams practice on a designated weekday evening and have a game every Saturday morning. Spring and fall seasons typically run 8-10 weeks each.

Photographers
We are constantly looking for photographers to take and share those great actions shots that we all love to see for the website and social media. Amateur and professional photographers are encouraged to contact us!

Board Members
A board of directors runs the GCCSA league. Various positions include a board president, directors, recreation chair, Cobras chair, treasurer, sponsorship coordinator and more. The GCCSA board is voted on every May and positions require a minimum one year commitment.

Administrative Support
From game and field scheduling to prepping fields or placing advertising signs around town, there are a plethora of other areas to help! Contact us for more information!
